domain | shirafune's currently short history

Shirafune.org was born in June 2009. Can't recall the date exactly since it took me forever to come up with a name ever since Tsuzuki offered to buy me one to cheer me up one day. ♥ I've always wanted a Rukia related domain ever since I became a fan of her as I started watching and then reading the series a few years ago. Unfortunately, most of the names I wanted were taken so I felt a little discouraged for a while.

So I was thinking of a name and finally decided on Shirafune for several reasons:

  1. It's related to Rukia. (lol) It's the name for Sode no Shirayuki's 3rd dance (attack).
  2. Shirafune means "white blade" in Japanese, and even though it's simple it gives me a strong feeling and impression.
  3. It's short and it sounds really well when combined with the .org hehe.

I really like this name, actually I've considered it to become my main domain if I ever decide to let my current one go. It's just such a gorgeous name, I love it. ♥
